Tithes & Offerings
We have a small offertory box near the entryway when you walk into the church. All checks can be made out to BUMC.
We believe that giving should come from the heart and that is something between you and God. Your tithes and offerings help us to do the work of Jesus Christ out into the local community and the world. Your donations have helped feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, provided free counseling services, has helped many locally and throughout the world during times of need, and allows us to keep our church doors open for people to come in to receive the love of Christ. The ministry of Jesus is alive and well. We thank you for your tax deductible donations.
Should you donate on-line and need an end of the year donation statement, please email: bentonumcsecretary@gmail.com

Good Samaritan Fund
We have been able to help those in financial crisis. Even though we are a small church with limited resources, we have been able to help those who are in need in big ways. God is faithful and we desire to give back the blessings in which God has given us. We have helped people put gas in their car to get to work, to purchasing groceries, providing college scholarships, and even keeping families from sinking from financial burdens. We seek to hear the challenge of Jesus in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). With your help, we can continue to offer support to those in need and fulfill the mission of the church. People need the love of Christ and we strongly believe that is through action. We pray you consider making a tax deductible charitable donation toward a great cause. Together, people can come to know that Jesus loves them because we decided to do something about the troubling times in which we live. We pray to love people just like Jesus and without any contingencies. Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus with others who need His love most.
